Between colour and silence

Painting is my way of capturing moments that cannot be described in words. Every canvas begins with emptiness and gradually fills with layers of colour that hold a quiet conversation.

I work mainly with acrylic and oil. I am interested in how light refracts on a surface and how depth emerges from simple planes.

The landscape cycle

In recent years I have focused on landscape - not as a faithful depiction of a place, but as a memory, a mood, a feeling.

A painting is finished when there is nothing left to take away.
